Rhodes Wood Hospital<\/a> is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for young people aged 8 up to 18 years. Each treatment programme is tailored to the needs of the young person.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The service provides a warm and nurturing environment so that we can identify and understand the symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress and help patients manage their condition. Our service supports not only the mental wellbeing of young people but also their educational, emotional and physical needs.<\/p>\n\n \n\n\n

The hospital is based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire and all the bedrooms are light and spacious with ensuite facilities. The young people are actively encouraged to personalise their space to make it feel like a home from home, with pictures, posters, and personal items. \u202fSome of our bedrooms may be shared with another young person.<\/p>\n\n \n\n

We have an on-site\u00a0Ofsted Registered school to support children and young people to continue with their education while in hospital. This helps to ease re-integration and transition home when they are ready for discharge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We offer an evidence based inpatient treatment programme focusing on moderate to severe eating disorders.
