Professional Experience

Dr Emma Howard is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked therapeutically in both public and private sectors for over a decade.

She is motivated by a lifelong passion to support individuals to develop to their full capacity. Her practice is founded on the belief that the relationship between herself and her clients can be a powerful vehicle for long lasting growth.

She enjoys working with people from all walks of life and more recently has primarily worked with individuals from Gender and Sexual Relationship Diversity (GSRD) communities.

When working therapeutically she aims to collaboratively formulate an individual’s difficulties. This helps to inform the most effective treatment approach and ensure it is in alignment with the person’s unique therapeutic goals.

She works in an integrative way, drawing on a variety of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).
