Professional Experience

I am the Lead Therapist at Elysium Therapy Brighton.

I am an integrative psychotherapist drawing on humanistic and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches, and utilising techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), to holistically meet the needs of my clients.

I’ve been practising as a psychotherapist for over 15 years providing both short-term and long-term one-to-one therapy and psychoeducational groups in a variety of settings including charities such as the NSPCC, and in universities including Brighton, UCA and Winchester, including 5 years of managing therapeutic services for students.

I have worked with people with a range of life challenges and conditions including trauma, abuse, anxiety and depression, eating issues, issues regarding sex and sexuality, and complex mental health conditions including BPD and bi-polar disorder.

I am an LBGTQ affirming therapist, as well as working from a trauma-informed approach.  I particularly enjoy working with children and young people, and act as our lead practitioner in regards to all child and adolescent patients.

I am a qualified DBT practitioner and co-facilitate our Third Wave CBT programme.
