More information about Chadwick Lodge & Eaglestone View
Chadwick Lodge is renowned for successfully treating complex personality disordered patients and those with mental health problems. In addition, we offer tailored care to those patients who present with a dual diagnosis of mental health problems/Personality Disorder (PD) and mild learning disability. We also specialise in remand patients, patients transferred from prison and those with a history of serious offending.
We offer a broad spectrum of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, involving patients at every stage. The hospital’s consultant-led Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) has a wealth of clinical and research experience in forensic psychiatry. All programmes are designed to reduce the risk of re-offending and to maximise the potential and enhance the quality of life of each patient.
Our secure services care for patients with complex and enduring mental illness who need to achieve stability in order to benefit from multidisciplinary interventions, helping them move on to community settings whenever possible.
Hope House provides a rehabilitation service for women with a diagnosis of EUPD, offering a 15-month intensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme.
Hope apartments provide a service for women who are progressing well in the intensive programme and who are preparing for discharge. The apartments enable patients to practice their skills in real life situations before returning to the community or a step-down placement.
Chadwick Lodge and Eaglestone View offers patients an extremely high standard of accommodation across ten small wards with single en-suite rooms, as well as five rehabilitation self-contained apartments. The service provides well maintained gardens, fully-equipped gym and a variety of facilities to encourage positive occupational and sports therapy.
