Chesterfield House

Chesterfield House provides a nurse-led specialist residential service for older adults who have a learning disability, or who are autistic and may also have additional mental health problems.

The service is a homely and spacious environment which replicate an ordinary living setting and encourages individuals to maintain their own living space and develop daily living skills. It is designed for those individuals who require a high level of support to live within a community setting.

The aim of Chesterfield House is to encourage individuals to lead a full and purposeful life, enabling them to live more independently in the heart of the community. This is achieved through a programme of active community engagement, that promotes meaningful social networks and the development of bespoke coping strategies.
