Martham House are also specialists in working with additional complex needs including:

• ADHD
• Epilepsy
• Cerebral palsy
• Self-injurious behaviours
• Prader-Willi syndrome
• Individuals who may have limited hearing or sight
• Individuals with mobility issues who may require a wheelchair can also be considered for the service

The aim of the service is to encourage individuals to lead a full and purposeful life, enabling them to live more independently in the heart of the community. This is achieved through a programme of active community engagement, that promotes meaningful social networks and the development of bespoke coping strategies.

This also supports developing further independence and social skills, including participating in meal preparation, learning about safety measures both in their environment and out in the community.
