More information about The Farndon Unit
The combination of low secure wards and Level 2 rehabilitation ensures continuity of care, supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation before discharge.
On-site facilities include spacious en suite bedrooms, disabled access, a secure courtyard and garden, plus a patient café, gym, salon, and activity hall.
We have achieved success with complex patients through staff training and implementation of the Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) model. Patient involvement is central to our approach, and all interventions are underpinned by compassion-based care.
- Low Secure Unit: Bolero, Cortland, and Darcy Wards provide personalised assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, including trauma-specific pathways for women with complex needs.
- Level 2 Rehabilitation: Ruby Frost Ward offers a psychology-led, trauma-informed rehabilitation service for women with mental health problems, complex needs, and PD diagnoses.
- Bespoke Packages of Care: Liberty ward offers flexibility to meet individual needs and deliver highly personalised support.
